How about some ideas from our guests about a summer family special. Kristine and I were talking today about some brainstorming for a weekend with yoga, nutrition, guided nature hikes, spa... so many ideas, then her son called on his way to a high school dance and my three year old daughter Dakota was playing in a puddle left from todays storm. So we started talking about our kids and how important it is to enjoy each day. And I thought, Hey, how about a weekend with kids. For older kids the nature hike with their parents, fishing, hot tub, picnic for for lunch and a family cooking class to get everyone involved even after you go home. Start one night a week cooking a meal together!
And for younger kids something similar with more snacks and soft time... but with both we would take care of you so you can enjoy spending time together with out the pressure of planning and fixing dinners and no house to clean up!!
And star gazing in the evening, what a great way for all ages to enjoy a bonfire and the sounds of the country. So should we start planning??
